Back to work!
Published by peter September 26th, 2006 in info.Last weekend we finished rebuilding our bathroom, and we are very pleased with the result! We had a lot of people coming over to help us on stuff like plumbing, putting in the concrete floor, tiling the floor and walls, assembling the units… and taking care of Sjoerd when needed. Pictures will follow!
The planning was far to tight to allow me to check out the various frameworks, servers, distributions on my list (well I tried to install OSX on my laptop, which sort of worked… but crashed far to much).
But since a new project is coming (rebuilding cinema.nl) I’ll probably have a bit of time to acquire some fresh insights in recent evolvements of the framework landscape. Next to this I’ll be at Javapolis at the beginning of December, can’t wait!
For now I’m focussed on fixing bugs, and enhancing the performance of the recently released beta of 3voor12.nl.

First thing you should change is the pop up *AAARGH*.
BTW I might be calling / mailing you in a week or 2 to ask some questions about ICT contracts.
I am currently following an elective called Contract & ICT (you guessed it, about ICT contracts) and I think you might have more of a hands on experience of things that (might) go wrong in the negotiation*, design and completion** process.
* = Whos IP (intellectual property) does the software become?
** = When is the service delivered, when the software is writtten or when the employees of the company know how to work with it.
PS we are mainly discussing contracts of ASP systems etc.
