Undisturbed Tomb found in the Valley of the Kings
Published by peter February 11th, 2006 in science.An unlooted and previously unopened 18th Dynasty tomb has been found in the Valley of the Kings. American archaeologists found five mummies resting in sarcophagi, funerary masks, and coptic storage jars. It is the first such discovery since Howard Carter’s discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922.
archaeologists said they discovered the tomb by accident while working on a nearby site.
I never expected such findings would still be possible at well known archaeological sites, don’t they fully search those sites?
Many many years ago we were playing on the beach.
My little son lost his shoe.
It was only a few inches deep under the sand.
But we never found it back.
